Info for Certificate Class Attendees

The Introduction to Aquaponic Certificate Class will take place this Saturday, February 27th. We look forward to meeting all of you there! Please review the information below which includes items to bring and directions.

Sign-in begins at 9:00 AM in the Student Center Ballroom of Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton, OK. Directions are included below. Your packets and materials will be available at sign-in. We will provide light breakfast refreshments at this time. Lunch, light snacks, water, and tea will be provided throughout the day. However, if you have dietary restrictions or preferences please feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages.

Our class schedule is packed so we are planning to begin the class promptly at 9:30 AM. The class will begin in the Ballroom and then move to the green house after lunch. The most recent weather forecast for Saturday has a high of 71 degrees. Please plan accordingly for our outdoor portion of the class.

Our goal for the class is to provide you with a basic working knowledge of aquaponics. We encourage note-taking throughout the class. Additionally, you are welcome to take pictures throughout the day though the use of recording devices are prohibited by Eastern Oklahoma State College policy

The Ballroom is located in the Student Center on the main portion of campus The Student Center can be easily identified by the large white columns at its entrance. Please take either Entrance labeled "2" or "3" to reach the Student Center. Parking is available directly across the from the main entrance to the building. Sign-in and material will be available on the first floor and the class will take place on the second floor in the Ballroom. The stairs and elevators will be located to the right of the main entrance.
