Symbiotic Aquaponic in conjunction with various colleges in OK, invite you to join us for a one-day introductory aquaponics certification class. Currently, we do not have a class scheduled, but will post it as soon as the next class is confirmed.
Students will have the chance to engage in class lectures with aquaponic professionals as well as experience hands-on learning in the both commercial greenhouses, including the newest Aquaponics Incubation addition. Some of the topics that will be covered are aquaponic system designs, species and plant selection, system development, the nitrogen cycle, and bacteria growth.
Students will receive a course materials packet and helpful references, seminar T-shirt, and a discount applicable towards the build of an individual or commercial system. Lunch and light refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Discounted rates will be available for early registration. Whether you're interested in adding to your FFA organization, boosting your STEM offerings, or implementing a sustainable school garden, this class will provide a solid foundation for you to successfully integrate aquaponics into your school and curriculum. Some of the topics that will be covered are aquaponic system designs, species and plant selection, the nitrogen cycle, system maintenance, and K-8 and 9-12 classroom activities. CEU's are available for this workshop.
